2024/25 - Premier & Comp Team TRYOUT Registration

Registration Covers:
 

  • Contact Information: You will provide your personal details such as name, address, email, and phone number.
     

  • Sign Up for Participation: You will indicate your age group.
     

  • Payment: There is a $35 tryout fee that needs to be submitted along with your registration.

It's important to carefully review each page during registration to ensure all information is accurately provided. To complete the registration process on our secure site, you'll need to have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or ACH Bank Account information ready for payment. This ensures a smooth and secure transaction for registering for the Girls Volleyball program. Announcing the new and strategic structure for the 2024/25 season at Hive.

Here is a summary of the key points:
 

  • Hive Premier & Comp Tryout: This tryout is designed to select players who meet the Tier Standards. These players will be competitive and committed athletes capable of competing regionally or nationally based on the selected tier, as determined by Club Directors and Head Coaches.
  • Team Selection: Hive runs evaluation stations and drills that allow each athlete to showcase their abilities and strength. Through this process, Hive will place each kid on a team that matches their talents and growth opportunities.
  • Comp Tier—If your athlete only wants to compete regionally (no travel), please choose yes to Comp. We will only place your athlete on a Comp Team. Hive will place each player on a team that wants to play this season. 
  • Premier Tier—If your athletes would like to be placed on a team that will have the opportunity to compete in a USA Qualifier (National Level Tournament), please choose yes to Premier. If you select the option to participate in Sunday play, you will be considered to play on a team that will add an extra tournament for $375. We hope to add the Salt Lake Showdown, but it may also require additional travel and hotel based on tournament acceptance. 

Hive will continue to focus on creating the best environment and experience to mentor our athletes to be better volleyball players and teammates and build characteristics that will follow them into the next chapter in their lives. 

2024/25 Premier/Comp Tryouts for U11-U14 age groups October 8th-9th

When choosing your age group, please refer to the age definition chart below.
 

U14 and Under Tryouts in October (October 8th-9th)

*U15 and Older Tryouts in November (November 11th-13th)

 

*Please note that our Comp Tier and Premier Tier will be at the same time held on different courts.  Please make sure you select the tier you hope to play in this registration. 

U11 & U12 

6:00-7:30 pm (Check-in @ 5:30 pm)

 

U13

4:00-5:30 pm (Check-in @ 3:30 pm)

 

U14

8:00-9:30 pm (Check-in @ 7:30 pm)

 

U15-U18 Tryouts will be held in November (Times are TBD)

Make- Up Tryouts

Hive recommends making arrangements to attend our main tryouts for the most accurate evaluation and placements. If you are unable to attend the main dates, we will have make-up tryouts after to fill needed spots and/or create more teams. If you attend Make-up Tryouts, you will not be guaranteed a spot.
