This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment.

Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

This Session goes from May 6th- June 12th. 

 

 

 

Matches will be held every Wednesday.

Practices: Mondays 5-6:30pm

May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th

June 3rd, 10th

Matches: Wednesdays 5-6:30pm

May 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th

June 5th, 12th

We are excited for our 2nd season of DC Kids Volleyball League! The leagues focus is to bridge the gap between Recreational Volleyball and Club Volleyball. 

 

The Kids league will run for 6 weeks and allow parents to volunteer to coach their son or daughter during match play. 

 

The DCKVL will include 12 Matches (2 sets each match) and 6 Practices (1.5 hr) in 6 weeks. 

Hive Volleyball will host each practice 1 lead coaches per court. We will combine teams for practice and cover all fundamental skills needed while introducing rotations and systematic defense and offense that will help all players increase their general volleyball IQ and better their chances of making future Junior High, High School and Club teams. 

This training is for both Boys and Girls. We will mix up the teams based on age. 

 

New this Training: There is a BOYS Only Division. Our other Division will remain the same as before. We suggest older and more experienced boys sign up for the Boys Division.

 

Each week teams and players get the opportunity to transfer what they are learning at practice into games. This is a great training to learn all skills, each player will get the chance to serve, spike, set and pass. Each player will have the opportunity to perform all skills needed to advance and grow within the sport. 

 

Recap: Practice 1x per week for 1.5 hrs hosted by Hive Coaches going over fundamental skills, rotations, and offensive/defensive systems. 12 matches per session, having fun, playing, and transferring what's learned and taught from practice. 

Players are advised to wear gym clothes (DCKVL Shirt, shorts/spandex, knee pads, gym shoes) and bring a water bottle. 

 

NOTE: We are adding the boys-only training to help promote our Boys Club program that will begin shortly after this session. Please look for more information regarding our Boys Program.
